An annual literary and arts publication comprised of exceptional work completed by undergraduate Honors students from within the Mid-East Honors Association (MEHA) region, Honors students at Kent State University edit and publish the entire magazine.
Each year faculty members who themselves were chosen for membership in Phi Beta Kappa at their undergraduate institutions meet and discuss exceptional Kent State students in the liberal arts. There are over half a million members, but only about 10 percent of the nation's institutions of higher learning have Phi Beta Kappa chapters and only about 10 percent of the arts and sciences graduates at these institutions are selected for membership.
The College of Honors and Global Education has several scholarships available exclusively to Honors Education students. Currently enrolled Honors students must meet the eligibility requirements specific to each scholarship for which they are applying (and be in good standing with Honors Education). Students may apply for one or more scholarships. Please do not apply for a scholarship for which you are not fully qualified.
The College of Honors and Global Education is dedicated to providing not only the best academic experience the university has to offer, but also an environment which allows students to grow, mature and become confident and independent of mind.
