Advising Policy

This is the policy for students in good standing with the College of Honors and Global Education: 

• During their first 2 semesters of College of Honors and Global Education membership, students must attend a minimum of 1 scheduled advising appointment per semester.   

• After their first 2 semesters of College of Honors and Global Education membership, students must attend a minimum of 1 scheduled advising appointment per academic year.

  • In the semester they do not have a scheduled advising appointment, students must update their advisor on their progress with Honors hours via the Honors Advising Plan form. 

If students are on probation with the College of Honors and Global Education, they must attend a minimum of 1 scheduled advising appointment per semester.   

When students have completed their Honors hours, they are waived from Honors advising but can still see their advisor if they wish to.
