Kent State University at East Liverpool is hosting a series of free Financial Aid Workshops for parents and students from any college or university, not just Kent State. The workshops will be held on Nov. 27, Dec. 5, Dec. 13 and Jan. 9. A financial aid specialist will provide important information related to financial aid, and will also help attendees complete and file the FAFSA form for the 2019-20 academic year. Students from the Kent State East Liverpool physical therapist assistant program observed National PTA Month by raising funds that were donated to Ava’s Women Center in East Liverpool. The PTA students raised $500 through fundraisers, which will be used to help provide “Blessing Bags” to clients at the center.
