Watch the Kent State University community enjoy a fun-filled afternoon at Kent State Night at the Cleveland Indians game on May 7! More than 1,500 students, faculty, staff and alumni attended the game.

The Kent State University Board of Trustees will hold its next regular business meeting at 11 a.m. on  May 20 in The John Elliot Center for Architecture and Environmental Design on the Kent Campus.

This year’s May 4 Commemoration, to be held May 1-4, 2026, will include special remembrances of John Cleary, one of the nine wounded students, and Jerry M. Lewis, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus of Sociology, who served as a faculty marshal during the campus shootings and worked tirelessly to ensure that the legacy of May 4 would endure.
