Kent State University’s Brain Health Research Institute (BHRI) supports collaborative research and education through its programs and events, encouraging researchers, faculty, students and health care professionals to work together to develop projects that drive health across the lifespan.

Signature programs include the pilot grant program, summer undergraduate fellowship program and collaboration-focused speaker events.  Central to the BHRI’s impact are its advanced neurocognitive, neuroimaging, and biosampling facilities.  Housed in it's neuroimaging facilities is the Blaze light sheet microscope - currently the only one in Northeast Ohio.
