The Fall 2026 Fashion Merchandising Symposium aims to connect students and faculty with fashion alumni who have built entrepreneurial careers and businesses.
The Department of Biological Sciences is hosting Breakfast with the Birds for our alumni and friends at Homecoming! This is a great opportunity to enjoy a continental breakfast and explore our new Kent Campus aviary.
The Greater Cleveland and Lake County Alumni Chapters are joining forces to host a tailgate party before the Homecoming game! Starting at 9 a.m. and continuing until game time, enjoy food, beverages and a great time at our tent in the Dix Stadium West Parking Lot.
Kick off the day on Summit Street with our pre-parade block party, featuring games, family fun and the cherished “Kiss on the K” ceremony for campus sweethearts.
Join the Black Alumni Chapter for a tailgate before the Golden Flashes take on the Ohio University Bobcats in the Homecoming game. Starting at 9 a.m., stop by to meet up and reconnect with fellow Flashes!
Experience the excitement as our annual Homecoming parade rolls down Summit Street! Grab a seat in the grandstands right in front of the Kent Student Center to catch every moment, or watch online via livestream.

The Kent State LGBTQ+ Alumni Chapter is celebrating Homecoming 2026 following the Homecoming Parade! Join alumni, students, faculty and staff for light appetizers and a cash bar from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the Nineteen10 Restaurant in the Kent State University Hotel and Conference Center.
