Homecoming is the one day of the year when the decades and differences between us disappear - we are all Flashes Forever. Homecoming Parade

The day began with coffee, breakfast snacks and a spirited morning on the Student Green at the Pre-parade Block Party. The Homecoming Parade debuted its new route down Summit Street at 10:30 a.m., kicking off at the Beverly J. Warren Student Recreation and Wellness Center. Floats, musical performances and Golden Flash pride brought the heart of campus to life. Those unable to attend watched the excitement via livestream.

Flash Nation Tailgate

Blue and gold energy filled the air as the Flash Nation Tailgate brought the Golden Flash family together. Guests enjoyed free food, activities for all ages and nonstop Kent State spirit. It was the ultimate pregame celebration before the big game.

Kiss at the K

Kent State couples gathered at the iconic “K” to celebrate the place where their love stories began. The ceremony captured countless special moments as alumni and friends shared in the tradition together.

Football Game

The Homecoming celebration concluded with the Golden Flashes defeating the University of Massachusetts Minutemen 42–6. Fans packed the stands, filled the air with cheers and proudly showed UMass what Flash Nation is all about.
