Give-N-Go

Give-N-Go, previously known as Throw-N-Go, is an annual move-out program that began in 2003. From spring break through graduation, Kent State residence hall students have the opportunity to donate non-perishable food, clothing, rugs, furniture, appliances, and other usable items through the Give-N-Go program. Bins are placed in designated areas within residence hall lobbies to collect donations, which benefit the Phyllis Zumkehr Portage County Clothing Center, Habitat for Humanity of Portage County ReStore, and the Center of Hope.

The program is coordinated by Kent State University Facilities Planning and Operations, Kent State University Housing, Habitat for Humanity of Portage County ReStore, and the Phyllis Zumkehr Portage County Clothing Center. Special thanks to Portage County Recycling for lending collection bins for this event.
