Parents and Families Appreciation Weekend provides opportunities for students and families to engage with the Kent campus. Through events hosted with families in mind, the weekend aims to celebrate and highlight various Kent State traditions combined with the excitement of family-friendly programming.

Families are invited to take a moment to connect in a fun and meaningful way. Stop by to write a heartfelt postcard to your college student, whether it’s filled with words of encouragement, a favorite memory, or just a simple “we’re thinking of you.” We’ll save your message and inform your student to stop by our office later in the semester to pick it up, right when they could use a little extra love from home.
