  Squirrels rule! Flashes are invited to celebrate Kent State's famous black squirrels at the annual Black Squirrel Festival from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12, on Risman Plaza.    Scamper on over for food, music, games, tabling by local businesses and student organizations, and an opportunity for students to get a free t-shirt!  The event is presented by Flashes Activities Board and the Center for Student Involvement. Take Back the Night (TBTN) is an international march and rally that started in the 1970s as a protest and direct action against power-based personal violence in our communities.

Today, TBTN provides a symbolism of an individual's walk through darkness and a united front against fear and sexual violence. TBTN is open to any survivor and allies.
