Q: What is the Tiered Funding System?
A. The Tiered Funding System allows student organizations to receive increasing amounts of operating dollars by completing specific requirements across three tiers: Foundation, Growth & Goal Setting, and Engagement & Impact.
Q: Who manages the Tiered Funding System?
A. The program is managed by Student Organization Support (SOS) within the Center for Student Involvement (CSI). For additional guidance or support, email csi@kent.edu.
Tier 3: (Engagement, Impact, Accountability)
Organizations must have completed Tier 2, have a minimum of 15 total members listed on their KSU Engage roster AND complete the following to be eligible for an additional $400 operating dollars:
- Meet with a Student Organization Support (SOS) Coach to review and evaluate SMART Goals for AY 25-26
- Complete and submit documentation of one community service project for AY 25-26; opportunities available through Helper Helper
