Each year, Kent State University invites an exciting array of visiting artists to speak at the School of Art. In 2024, Kent Blossom Art Intensives welcomes eight visiting artists to participate in course workshops, exhibit their work and give free lectures to the community. All lectures are open to the public and take place at the Center for the Visual Arts in room 165, located at 325 Terrace Drive in Kent, Ohio. Kent State University hopes to address the police officer shortage by expanding its police academy to Twinsburg, Ohio, this fall.
