Filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) unlocks multiple types of aid and can be completed in a few easy steps. Please review the following information for steps that explain how to complete the FAFSA. Kent State Geauga and Twinsburg Academic Center Emergency Relief Funds Application

At Kent State Geauga, your well-being matters to us. We understand that unexpected emergencies can arise and potentially impact your ability to stay on track with your education. Thanks to the generous support of our faculty, staff, and community friends, we may be able to offer financial assistance to help you through difficult times.

The purpose of this fund is to provide assistance to students who are in crisis or demonstrate emergency financial need. Funding recipients shall be selected on the basis of: 

  • Currently enrolled at Kent State University Geauga as an undergraduate student in any degree program.
  • Demonstrated emergency financial need, either through the FAFSA or through a written statement. 
  • The need must be for expenses that will help the student maintain enrollment. Emergency funding decisions will be made by the Geauga Emergency Application Review Committee.

Please complete this application to be considered for emergency assistance. Your submission will be reviewed by the Geauga Emergency Application Review Committee. Decisions are typically made within approximately one week. A member of our staff may contact you during this process, so be sure to provide the best phone number and email(s) where you can be reached.
