Teach CS Cohorts

Teach CS 2026 - 2027

As of December 2025, Kent State is in the running for a grant to start a newly planned Teach CS cohort for 2026 - 2027. However, it is not ready for applications yet. If you want to apply for this program, you should NOT apply to Kent State on your own because you will be charged for the application fee (which is not reimbursable and there is no guarantee of acceptance into the program or guarantee of a scholarship). The program will include three pathways:

  • Master's Degree plus CS Endorsement
  • Standalone CS Endorsement
  • NEW! Professional Development - AI in CS Education (no teaching license required)

If you are interested in the Master's Degree + Endorsement or the standalone CS Endorsement, follow these steps:

  1. Fill out the intent to apply form to have your name added to the interest list. The email address you put on this list is where we will send a waiver code for the application fee when it is time to apply, so it should be an email that you check regularly.
    1. FOR MASTER'S OR ENDORSEMENT: Educational Technology | 2026 Teach CS Cohort: Intent to Apply and Student Information Form
  2. Begin the Kent State Application and upload your documentation, but DO NOT click the apply button. Get everything ready so that you can enter the waiver code and click apply when the time comes. There are further application tips on the specific Master's and Endorsement pages linked in the "For your further information" section below.

If you are interested in the Professional Development option, fill out this form:
