The Kent State Ashtabula Student Financial Aid Office strives to make a degree from Kent State an affordable option for students and families, regardless of family income. Our staff is committed to providing a high level of service and will explore all possible financial aid options with students.

2027-2028 FAFSA Form is OPEN!
Students attending for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 can still complete the 2026-27 FAFSA if you have not done so. The 2027–28 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form is open for all students to complete. This is for Summer 2027, Fall 2027, and Spring 2028 terms.
Filing the FAFSA by February 1, 2027 gives students priority for the maximum amount of financial aid, including grants, scholarships, loans, and work-study.

Priority Deadline is March 31. Late applicants will be accepted until May 1, but will only be considered on an as-needed basis.
