Student-Centered Events

At Kent State’s College of the Arts, student-centered events provide resources, experiences and connections to help students thrive in both college and beyond. These events spark collaboration, showcase student talent and help prepare students for a creative and successful future.

Resource Spotlight

The Academic Resource Series Spotlight is a monthly workshop series designed to help first-year students become familiar with the university and college resources they’ll need as they transition into their sophomore year. Each session highlights different support services like tutoring, Writing Commons, CARES and academic advising, so students can build confidence, ask questions, and feel more prepared throughout their academic journey.
