Sandi Nelson

Sandi Nelson joined our division in November of 2025 as Coordinator, Operations and Special Projects. Sandi's DPAE role is to support the Senior Associate Vice President and COO as well as the communications and annual giving team, with a variety of operations and administrative responsibilities. Sandi will have a role in Presidential Strategy and Presidential Coordination, DPAE working groups, as well as strategic plan development and tracking. She has an extensive background at large marketing organizations in production management, purchasing management, legal protections, and executive support. Sandi brings a great deal of energy, experience and excitement to our team and her two children are proud to be current Kent State Flashes. Sandi’s favorite thing about Kent State so far is working with a team of kind, intelligent and fun people.
