KSTV is the independent, student-run broadcast news organization at Kent State University. KSTV operates a nightly newscast and provides journalism students with hands-on experience in the Franklin Hall studio.

The Kent Stater is the independent, student-run newsroom. Staff work alongside KSTV, Kent State’s independent student-led TV station, producing daily broadcasts, biweekly newspapers and digital news while gaining hands-on newsroom experience.
