Laurel Wirtanen-Siloy currently serves as director of Philanthropy for the College of Communication and Information. In this role, Laurel connects with Kent State University alumni and friends to hear their stories, thank them for their generosity and connect and engage them with their interests at Kent State.
Laurel began working for Kent State in October 2018, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Political Science, as well as a Master of Business Administration.
Laurel’s favorite thing about Kent State is that the university welcomes all and provides leadership to motivate, inspire and uplift.
