This is Me

About Me

I am originally from northwest Ohio. I came to Kent State University as a student to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising. As an undergraduate student, I had the opportunity to spend a semester studying abroad in London, which changed the trajectory of my career. I then earned my Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration from Kent State and began working professionally at the University in 2016. Kent State has become home for me, and I love having the opportunity to welcome new students to our community and share all of the great opportunities that Kent State can offer, especially our education abroad programs!

What I Love About Kent State

The Kent State community is very welcoming and there are so many opportunities for students to find their passion, their people, and their place - wherever in the world that may lead them! The resources and opportunities here are endless. I'm also a huge fan of our unofficial mascots, the black squirrels.

Fun Facts

My favorite way to explore a new place is by waking up early in the morning and going for a run. I love the calm and quiet of the morning before the city springs to life and it's a great way to cover a lot of ground and find new and interesting places.
