Biography
Alessandra Favalli is a marketing and sustainability strategist with over twenty-five years of international experience across innovation, sustainability, technology and fashion. Her career spans senior leadership roles in multinational companies across Europe and the US, entrepreneurial initiatives and academic collaboration, with a focus on responsible and competitive business models.
After specialising in sustainable development through postgraduate and executive education, she has advised organisations in sectors including fashion, eyewear, manufacturing, technology and social enterprise. She currently serves as Head of Global Marketing & Sustainability for a leading international eyewear company. She is also co-founder of an initiative promoting circularity and responsible innovation in fashion, with projects focused on upcycling, excess stock valorisation, and socially inclusive production models. Her work also includes contributions as an external expert on traceability and circular value chains.
Alongside her corporate activity, she collaborates with universities and educational institutions in Italy and internationally as lecturer and faculty contributor on sustainability, circular economy, branding and responsible innovation. Her approach connects academic frameworks with real-world business practice, helping students see sustainability as a driver of innovation, competitiveness and systemic change.
