Dave Waugaman

About Me

I am from North Huntingdon, PA. I received a dual bachelor's degree in history and political science from Thiel College and my master's degree in history from Wichita State University. I have recruited all over Western Pennsylvania and as a life-long Pittsburgher, I look forward to recruiting the next generation of Flashes in the Pittsburgh region.

My advice for prospective students is to find a school where you feel like you belong, where you can connect with your fellow students, faculty and staff, and where they will give you the tools to become exactly what you want to be.

What I Love About Kent State

I love all of the collaborations the university offers. The maker spaces are a great place for students of different majors to come together to create and share great ideas. Also, I enjoy how connected the university is to the town of Kent. You really feel apart of a great community when you walk on our campus.

Fun Facts

• I am a huge Pittsburgh sports fan!
• I took a trip to Germany, Austria and Switzerland in high school and loved it!
